Plug and Play - cards no longer needed jumpers.
(Probably software jumper-ed like MCA)

More expensive than ISA
And was shortly replaced by local buses such as PCI or VLB.
Few cards developed tended to be Disk Array controllers (raid) and
Network server cards.
