Lab information

• How to FTP files from your H: drive. If you are using the command-line FTP, use the ascii command, then get filename. You can use put to send a file to your H: drive. Note: FTP changes the date on the file, so you cannot use FTP to make a backup copy after a program is due.
• How to get free anti-virus software from NIU for your home Windows machine. Get it and use it! In the lab, anti-virus checking should be automatic, but you can double-check your disk using the anti-virus program on the Start menu.
