Faculty: Dr. Raimund K. Ege

Dr. Ege's career spans 25 years as an educator in academia and industrial settings. He holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from Oregon State University and a Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from the Orgeon Institute of Science and Technology (now part of the Oregon Health & Science University). For many years he was a member of the faculty at the School of Computing and Information Sciences at Florida International University in Miami, FL. He is now on the faculty at Northern Illinois University in Dekalb, IL.

He is an active computer science researcher and teacher specializing in computer and information security, multi-media communication, and software architecture. He has also investigated distributed systems, software engineering, databases, user interfaces and simulation software.

He is recognized as an expert on object-oriented concepts. His publication record includes several books and numerous papers. He is a frequent presenter at scientific conferences throughout the world.
